Project management · Kelowna

Every tradeon one page.

For owners who want one person running the job. Every trade is named to a written scope, cleared with WorkSafeBC, and scheduled in order.

Project management

Most delays on a job come from the gaps between trades. We run those gaps: who comes when, what each one is responsible for, what was delivered, and what is left.

  • Signed work order before day one
  • Every trade WorkSafeBC-cleared
  • Changes priced in writing

On your work order

Written down
before day one.

For project management, the work order you sign spells out:

  • Every trade on the job, named to its scope
  • Who holds each permit
  • The schedule and the inspections
  • How materials are ordered, counted and approved
  • How a change is priced and signed
  • The holdback and the final account

How it runs

Four steps,
in order.

Every step is on the work order. Read the full Valiant & Bold standard.

  3. 03

    Run the site

Order of work, deliveries, safety and changes, all in writing.

  4. 04

    Close the account

Deficiencies closed, holdback handled, final account within 15 business days.

Project management

Questions
people ask.

Can you manage trades I already hired?

Yes, if they sign on to the same written scope, safety rules and clearance requirements as everyone else on the site.

Who pays the trades?

That is written in the work order. Where the Builders Lien Act applies, the 10% holdback is retained and released by the rules.

What does a trade need before starting?

A signed work order, a WorkSafeBC clearance letter, the insurance the agreement requires, and a site orientation.
